New Boiler Installation

If your current boiler is unreliable, inefficient, or getting expensive to keep repairing, a new installation is often the more sensible option. Heat-tecNE surveys your property, recommends a boiler that suits your household's hot water and heating demand, and carries out the full installation to current Gas Safe standards.

We don't work from a standard package. Every home is different, so the survey looks at your existing pipework, how many bathrooms you have, and how your household actually uses hot water, before we recommend a boiler. Once fitted, the system is tested thoroughly, the installation is notified through the Gas Safe scheme as required by law, and the work area is left clean and tidy before we leave.

Before any work begins, we'll agree the scope and price with you in writing, so there are no surprises on the day. Removing the old boiler, fitting the new one, and making good around the installation are all included, and we'll talk you through how the new system works before we leave.

Do I need a Gas Safe registered engineer for a boiler installation?

Yes. By law, any work on gas appliances, including boiler installations, must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Heat-tecNE is Gas Safe registered (530241), and every installation is carried out to current Gas Safe standards.

How do I know what size boiler I need?

It depends on your property, the number of bathrooms, and how much hot water your household uses. We carry out a survey before recommending a boiler, rather than guessing, so you don't end up with one that's too small or larger than you need.

Can I repair my boiler instead of replacing it?

Sometimes. If your boiler is otherwise in good condition, a repair may be the more sensible option. We'll give you an honest assessment of whether a repair or replacement makes more sense for your situation, rather than steering you toward a new installation you don't need.

Will you remove my old boiler?

Yes. Removal of your old boiler is included as part of the installation.

What happens after the installation is complete?

Your new boiler is tested and commissioned before we leave, and the installation is notified through the Gas Safe scheme, as required by law for all new gas installations.
