These terms and conditions apply whenever you book gas or heating work with Heat-tecNE, whether that's arranged through this website, by phone, or by email. Please read them alongside any written quote we provide for your job.

1. About Us

Heat-tecNE is a Gas Safe registered gas and heating engineer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, registered under Gas Safe number 530241.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are provided free of charge and with no obligation to book any work. Where possible, we'll agree a price with you before work begins. If the scope of a job changes once work is underway, for example because of something not visible until a wall, floor or existing system is opened up, we'll discuss this with you before carrying out any extra work.

3. Booking and Appointments

Appointments are arranged directly with you once a quote has been accepted. We'll do our best to keep to agreed times, and will let you know as early as possible if a job is running late or needs to be rearranged.

4. Payment

5. Cancellations

6. Our Work

All gas work is carried out to current Gas Safe standards. Heat-tecNE is fully insured. Where a job includes a warranty or guarantee, for example on parts fitted or workmanship, the specific terms will be confirmed with you in writing at the time.

7. Your Responsibilities

To help us carry out work safely and efficiently, please make sure we have safe and reasonable access to the property and any relevant appliances, and let us know about anything that might affect the job, such as previous work carried out by others.

8. Liability

We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, in line with Gas Safe standards and current regulations. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Complaints

If something isn't right, please get in touch and we'll do our best to put it right. [Add specific complaints process, and Gas Safe Register or other relevant escalation route, if applicable.]

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, with an updated revision date. The terms that applied at the time you booked a job will continue to apply to that job.
